Y3 Trip to Natural History Museum
This week, Year 3 enjoyed an incredible trip to one of London’s most famous sites: the Natural History Museum. The children have been learning about rocks and fossils and were so excited to get up close and personal with the museum’s collections of dinosaur fossils, ammonites, precious stones, minerals and even meteorites!
We also ventured through the animals sections, keeping a keen eye out for Amazonian wildlife that we learnt about during our rivers topic. We spotted piranha, a caiman, a capybara, toucans and even a jaguar!
To cap off a wonderful day, the children were praised for their exceptional behaviour, and the Year 3 teachers could not be more proud of them.
