Young Voices
What a night! On Monday, our choir was incredibly lucky to perform at the O2 as part of the largest children’s choir concert in the world – Young Voices!
The Young Voices choir has been going from strength to strength since its inception in 1997. Their mission is simple - to inspire a love of music in children, and I can safely say our choir did not need much motivation to sing their hearts out!
Upon arrival, we were introduced to David Lawrence - our conductor for the evening, and set straight to work! Rehearsals ran from 2pm until 5pm. After an hour break, the children were led back into the arena, ready to perform to a sell-out crowd!
Singing with 7,891 other children, our choir performed alongside Natalie Williams, Alfie Sheard, THE M4GNETS and phenomenal dance group, The Urban Strides. The evening was filled with hits from the last 30 years, from Africa by Toto to Heroes by Alesso. Our choir smashed it!
