The aim of the Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance at Chobham Academy is to ensure that the students who study here are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education, training or employment (Ofsted 2016).
Students at Chobham Academy are able to work with a highly experienced Careers Advisor called Ann Evans. She is part of the Harris Federation Careers Advisor team and working across the Federation Academies. She offers bespoke and personalised careers guidance and advice. Students across the year groups have access to her advice, either through 1:1 interviews, group interviews, assemblies, tutor programme or through the lunch time drop in clinic.

Tutor Programme/Innovation Days
At various points in the Academic year, students from Year 7 to 13 have access to a bespoke year group career focused tutor programme. This includes a range of guidance from UCAS and Higher Education to GCSE options. The Innovation Day programme also provides an opportunity for students to develop their work skills in a range of settings
Nationals Careers Week 2018 - 5th – 10th March
“NCW is run as a not-for-profit company to promote the importance of good careers education in schools and colleges, founded and backed by a number of volunteers with a wealth of experience from education, business and careers guidance.”

Chobham Academy successfully completed project with Creative Digital Careers. Y11 students created an infographic to inform people in the local area about how the labour market is changing in London. A link to the company can be found below:
This opportunity will provided the students with an opportunity to develop their creative design skills, have a greater understanding of the careers available in the Creative Digital Industries, and work in partnership with Stratford Circus and also Stratford Theatre. he pilot project lasted 6 months.
