Kass Ashger is currently studying Mathematics, Biology and Economics and will, with the support of the Sixth Form team, be applying to top universities to study Mathematics and Economics. Kass wants to pursue a career in corporate finance, focusing mainly on the equity of large companies and assisting in international mergers.
Outside of studying Kass, a Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge winner, enjoys socialising with friends and playing a variety of sports, ranging from football to table tennis and pool.
Kass’s vision for Chobham Academy is to become one of the leading outstanding academies in the country.
Shabnam is currently studying History, Politics and Economics and have applied to study international relations at university, with three out of her five options being in the Russell Group.
Shabnam wishes to pursue a career in intergovernmental relations, working for organisations such as the UN and the EU, focusing on business and trades aspects.
Shabnam has achieved the Silver Duke of Edinburgh award, completed the NCS challenge and enjoys socialising with friends.
Shabnam’s vision for Chobham is for it to excel as a Sixth Form, whilst acknowledging the hard work and effort of its students.
Hamza is currently studying Economics, Business and Sociology and is considering studying Economics at a Russell Group university. This will be ideal preparation as Hamza aims to contribute to his family’s business before setting up his own business one day.
Hamza’s hobbies include playing football, socialising with friends and organising events as a volunteer at ‘Off the Streets’.
Jackiya is currently studying Mathematics, Physics, English and Religious Education. Having attended Chobham Academy for nearly four years now, Jackiya has seen vast changes and improvements for the students at the academy; all of which, in her own words, has benefited her greatly.
Jackiya, an avid reader, has a passion for working with young people, and has mentored younger students.
Jackiya’s vision for Chobham is ambitious, though practical. She hopes to help the school excel in all aspects and provide more outstanding opportunities for students, regardless of their age group.
As Deputy Head Girl, Jackiya aims to inspire her peers by reinforcing the school ethos and core values. ‘I have always believed that in order to make any changes, communication and collaboration is key. Therefore, my goal for this year is to provide ample opportunity for students and staff to work together as a team. My position as Deputy Head Girl has given me a platform to turn words into actions and make improvements in any way I can.’
