Primary Student Leadership
Primary Prefects and Companions
There are 6 primary prefects and 6 primary companions.
The pupils have various duties that they perform at break time and lunch and the pupils are rotated every half term in order to give pupils a chance to develop their leadership skills in a variety of situations.
Duties consist of:
Dining Hall trays and tables – Help the pupils in the primary hall to put their trays back correctly and help to serve the water to the pupils. Help keep the lines sensible and quiet. Make sure all of the tables are kept clean and tidy.
Year 6 Companions – 6 pupils in 3 different zoned areas, in the playground, making sure all of the pupils are safe and playing with others. Pupils are a support for the younger pupils to talk to and play with. Companions can arrange and organise games for the younger pupils.
Inside stairs monitor – 2 pupils to stand on top of the inside stairs to ensure that children are behaving responsibly.
Outside stair monitor – 2 pupils to stand on top of the outside stairs to ensure that children are behaving responsibly.
Every class at Chobham primary has two class ambassadors which are chosen and elected every half term. Our ambassadors welcome visitors to our academy courteously and informatively by talking to them about which class they are visiting and what their current learning is. Please feel free to ask our ambassadors any questions that you may have about our academy and our learning.
